CIRCUIT SHOP ------------ Copyright (c) 1997-2006 Cherrywood Systems ------------------------------------------ To install Circuit Shop, run SETUP.EXE. WHAT IS CIRCUIT SHOP? Circuit Shop allows you to design, simulate and learn about digital and analog electronic circuits. Circuit Shop is an easy to use graphical CAD tool to allow simple digital and analog electronic circuits to be constructed and analyzed. It includes: * Drawing tools to construct simple electronic circuit schematics consisting of digital and analog devices such as ICs, logic gates, flip-flops, op amps, dependent sources, diodes, LEDs, transistors, resistors, batteries, switches, lamps, etc. * A tutorial which teaches basic digital and analog electronic concepts. * Digital circuit design and analysis capability using digital sources, logic gates, flip-flops, timers, sequence generators, digital displays, ICs and digital oscilloscopes. * Analog circuit design and simulation capability to perform DC analysis, sinusoidal steady state analysis, optimization and frequency response. Frequency response includes magnitude, Bode, phase, dB and group delay plots. * Custom symbol support. A simple paint toolkit allows text, lines, ovals and rectangles to be added as circuit annotations or used to create custom symbols. * A library of custom symbols to allow audio visual design and component layout. * A printable version of Circuit Shop's on-line help file can be downloaded from the Circuit Shop home page. The fully indexed PDF document consists of a reference manual and a basic electronics tutorial. Keywords: electronic circuit schematic custom symbol basic design analysis simulation optimize electric electrical educational tutorial digital analog device audio visual components design layout logic gate flip-flop timer sequence generator digital oscilloscope transistor hybrid-pi model op amp dependent source DC AC sinusoidal steady state frequency response Bode phase dB group delay IC CAD drawing paint toolkit FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Search for FAQ or Frequently Asked Questions in Circuit Shop's help file (CIRC.HLP). SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 98/NT/XP - 486 with 8M or better. TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH CIRCUIT SHOP FEATURES Circuit Shop's help file CIRC.HLP contains an extensive electronics tutorial including a number of step-by-step demonstrations. The step-by-step demonstrations can be used to learn how to use Circuit Shop's graphical drawing tools and circuit analysis features. The most basic demonstration is in the Ohm's Law tutorial, search for help topic Ohm's Law Demonstration Circuit in the above help file. FILES IN THE PACKAGE 1. README.TXT This file 2.
